Why see Paul? His extensive physio experience & knowledge means there probably isn’t an injury out there he hasn’t treated. Paul will give you an honest approach to treatment and always incorporates a range of techniques so you get the best results.

Why physio? As a youngster I was quite sporty (I still try!) and was always interested in biology and injuries of the human body. I wanted to work with my hands, but use my brain within the healthcare sector. I have always been ‘hard working’ & from the age of 15 I planned on owning my own physio clinic and running my own business. Within a year of qualifying as a physio, around my full time NHS job, I started working in a local sports injury clinic in Nottingham. Until fairly recently I have worked up to 14 hours a day seeing patients (now that’s a lot of patients over the years!)

What Excites me? In a nutshell, physio ticks all of the boxes for me & I thoroughly enjoy my work, finding innovative ways to develop the business and continuously develop our team in taking care of you. I enjoy the analytical aspect of problem solving patients’ injuries & being responsible for the whole treatment and rehabilitation process.

When I’m not working? I’ve recently concluded I’m a bit of a risk taker! Over the years I’ve regularly partaken in scuba diving, wake boarding & kite surfing. However, I now limit my adrenaline activities to fast downhill off-road mountain biking in the dark & hilly off-road / trail running in the evenings. The UK weather has long stopped me from putting off my training and I’ll be out rain, snow or sun. Being a father of 3 obviously keeps me busy and I certainly try & install a positive, active, sporty upbringing for my kids, hoping they develop a lifelong love of being active! My weekends are often very busy coaching grass roots football in the local community.
