Physiotherapist
Speaks DanishI am a Chartered Physiotherapist and owner of Motus. I have 20 years of experience in the NHS where I continue to work as a specialist MSK physio and team leader at CUH since 2004 and in Peter Wilson Sports Injuryn Clinic from 2003-2010, working closely with rheumatologist and orthopaedic doctors. As well as bringing a wide-ranging clinical experience to the clinic, I have a special interest in sports injuries, neck, jaw and headache problems, which I treat with many different modalities including acupuncture. I am a keen runner and I have completed numerous marathons and thus, I do not believe in simply stopping activity if injured however adopting a SMART training schedule instead. I has featured in varies newpapers and my most recent claim to fame was the Poster Girl on the Cambridge half Marathon 2019. Global health has been part of my life for many years working for Cambridge Global Health Partnership. I have been travelling to Myanmar, setting up a programme for Physiotherapists in Yangon as independent thinkers and introducing best practice. In 2014 and 2019 I was norminated by a patient and staff member for the ‘You made a difference award’ at CUH. My aim is to provide highly skilled Physiotherapy for the local population.
