David Baker is a Clinical Director at Complete Physio, an extended scope physiotherapist and a visiting lecturer to university and physiotherapy and osteopathy clinics.
Qualified also as a muscular sonographer, David is able to use diagnostic ultrasound to identify problems in soft tissues and to perform imaging-guided joint injections. He is vice-chairman of ACPOMIT, the Association for Chartered Physiotherapists with an interest in Orthopaedic Medicine and Injection Therapy.
David is also qualified to independently prescribe medication for musculoskeletal conditions. This complements his expert assessment and treatment skills, allowing him to prescribe the medication and perform the ultrasound-guided injection when appropriate.
David has extensive experience in the management and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. He has worked in many areas from sports teams to accident and emergency departments to patients with chronic pain conditions. A member of ACPSM, the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine, David is able to bring a wealth of training and knowledge to your problem, over and above the traditional skills of physiotherapy.
