    Abigail Browne – BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy MMT, MCSP, MHPC, MAACP

    Abigail qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Manchester in 2003. She then moved to London where she spent the next 4 years working in 2 of the most prestigious training hospitals in the UK: Tower Hamlets PCT and the Kings College Hospital Foundation Trust.

    In 2007 Abigail completed a Master of Manual Therapy from the world renowned University of Western Australia. Abigail loves to treat a wide variety of presentations including dance, sports, recreational and general musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. She has worked with semi-professional footballers recovering from various orthopaedic operations and (working alongside the Australian Olympic Swimming Physiotherapist) Pre-Olympic Australian swimmers, kayakers and water polo players rehabilitating from injuries using both manual therapy and clinical Pilates.

    Since returning from Australia Abigail has worked in a variety of musculoskeletal departments around Manchester and Liverpool. Abigail has gained a wealth of experience working with the Rheumatology and Orthopaedic Outpatient physiotherapy Departments at the Manchester Royal Infirmary as well as the Obstetric Physiotherapy team at St. Mary’s Hospital.

    Abigail continues to work part time in the NHS alongside running Didsbury Physiotherapy & Pilates Clinic. She has a wealth of experience working with dancers of all types including ballet, contemporary and of course Irish dancers.
