About Chichester Physio - Goodwood

In Chichester, Lindy Griffiths & Associates Physiotherapy we look for the root causes of your pain or injury and concentrate on solving them rather than giving you just symptomatic treatment.

We take a hands-on treatment approach, assessing your lifestyle as well so we can create a personalised home programme to speed your recovery.

Our physiotherapists are experts in the assessment, treatment and management of a wide range of sports injuries, pain conditions and musculoskeletal problems.

  • Physiotherapy. Our specialist physiotherapists are experienced in assessing and treating injury or pain problems. We use many treatment types including joint mobilisations, ultrasound, acupuncture, taping and exercise programmes.
  • Sports Injuries. With a sports injury it’s especially important to get early diagnosis and treatment if you are to get back to your sport or activity at the earliest opportunity. We don’t just deal with keen athletes but with anyone who follows a sport.
  • Women’s Health Physiotherapy. We have an expert women’s health physiotherapist who can assess and treat incontinence, pelvic floor issues, pregnancy-related pains and pelvic pain.
  • Sports Massage. If you’ve just played a vigorous game or had a hard workout, a sports massage can really help get your muscles into recovery mode. Many musculoskeletal issues, along with tension and stress, could benefit from a good sports massage.
  • Acupuncture. Acupuncture is particularly useful in treating pain, sometimes when other treatments are not easy to apply, allowing more standard physiotherapy techniques later.
  • Alexander Technique. Alexander technique can be very useful in correcting postural problems and difficulties with the use of your body that are causing you pain or restriction.
  • Pilates. Pilates concentrates on muscular control, precision, stability and flexibility, either for general exercise, post-operative rehabilitation or after your physio sessions. We have a variety of Pilates classes with a maximum of eight people, so we can supervise you closely and you can learn quickly. We also run yoga classes.
  • Headache Treatment. Lindy has studied musculoskeletal headaches deeply so she can employ her physiotherapy techniques to relieve headache pain.

Lindy Griffiths & Associates has three clinics, at Bosham near Chichester, Goodwood Health Club and Petworth.

All our physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
