What does Local Physio Do?
Local Physio is for physiotherapists who want more clients booked into their lists. We find people who want to book appointments right away and direct them to you.
We help you set up a listing on our site, covering the services you offer, opening times, fees, etc., so that people searching for physio in your area can see what you provide.
How Does The Process Work?
We allocate a custom phone number to your listing on our site, so we can track calls coming via us to you. Our back-end system records calls (callers are made aware of this) and sends you an email alert so you don’t miss any potential customers.
Do You have any Input in the Calls?
No, calls are diverted directly to you at the clinic. Callers are not aware they are not calling you direct, so we have no contact with any caller.
Do You Book Appointments etc.?
No, any arrangements made on the call are entirely between you, the clinic, and the patient calling. The number of times you see the patient and the fees you charge are wholly up to you.
Are There Any Set-Up or Monthly Charges?
There are no setup charges. You agree to pay us a platform fee of £3.50 per month to be listed on our site. Any further payments to us are totally results-oriented, so if we don’t send you any patients, you pay nothing more.
Is there a Contract?
While you are signed up, we agree to find patients for you and you agree to pay us for each valid new patient we send you. You can opt-out at any time.
What Do You Charge For?
We charge the monthly platform fee and for someone booking an initial appointment for a course of treatment.
What Don’t You Charge For?
Everything else. Repeat callers, wrong numbers, marketing calls and any calls not intending book an initial appointment are not chargeable.
What is the Cost?
When a suitable patient is referred to you, you agree to pay a proportion of the initial appointment fee as a one-off payment, as defined on the signup page. No other subsequent appointment fees are incurred.
How do Payments Work?
We use an automated payment system which is quicker and more secure than other methods, and less hassle for you and us. Our secure payment provider is GoCardless and we ask you to set up a Direct Debit Instruction (DDI). That way, you are covered by the Banks’ direct debit guarantee that you will always be refunded for any error.
At the beginning of a month, you get a detailed invoice statement of the last month’s calls, with whatever details we can provide. You then have a week to ten days to query any call with us before the direct debit is actioned.
This way you always have time to query the validity of a call before any billing takes place.
How do I get a Refund?
We can manage this is one of two ways. Either we refund you via the direct debit system or we make a chargeable call in a future month non-chargeable. Either way, this squares us up.
What if They’re a Known Patient?
If the patient is a client under current treatment (even if that is intermittent), then we’d make that call non-chargeable. However, if they are booking a new initial assessment with a physiotherapist, either for a new problem or an ongoing issue, we make that chargeable. We only charge when you are receiving the revenue for a course of treatment likely to last for a few sessions.
What if They were Referred Separately?
If a direct referral comes to you via email or post and the patient also calls via our number, we make that non-chargeable as they have already been referred to you separately. However, if a health insurer such as BUPA suggests ringing a clinic or clinics and the patient calls via our number to book with you, we would make that chargeable.
